1971 1800E
Coming up for auction at a sensible estimate at the next sale of DVCA in Dorset on June 20, see their website for pictures and more details: https://www.dvca.co.uk/vehicles-for-auction-view.php?classic-cars=Volvo-1800E-Coupe5137
I have owned this car for 18 years and have aimed to keep it maintained as a reliable and original car that's ready to go anywhere as our 'second car' and which you won't have to worry too much about in terms of where you leave it parked etc. You can check out the on-line MoT history in the usual way (GLD 518J). Early in my ownership I had the front chassis legs professionally replaced. I have replaced springs and dampers, swapped to 123 ignition distributor and recently renewed all fuel lines. I don't think it has ever been restored as such, but the last but one owner before me was the uncle of Volvo Enthusiast Club founder Kevin Price under whose ownership I understand it was recommissioned after a period laid up. There is a folder of the history during my ownership (and some prior to that) together with MoTs back to mid 1990s. spengunn@aol.com
